A GARDEN share project to allow more people to grow their own produce has been set up in Clevedon.
Members of Transition Clevedon are looking for homeowners with unused areas of their garden who would be willing to let someone else use it to grow their own vegetables, fruit or flowers.
The group hopes to match committed and respectful growers with local garden owners who want to see the area used more productively and both would get a share of the produce.
Transition Clevedon member Sally King said: “If we can facilitate people using other gardens it would free up growing space and it could be helpful to people who have large gardens, which they want to see maintained.”
Transition Clevedon is a group set up to encourage residents to become more self-sustainable and discourage the use of fossil fuels.
