The event was organised by Christian group Churches Together in Wrington and was held to celebrate Father’s Day.

Spokesman Graham Berry said: “It was a really lovely afternoon.

“It was also a good time to introduce the arrival of the new Wrington United Reformed Church pastor Reverend Duncan Tuck.

“The day was also a good excuse for bouncy castles, a barbecue, pedal cars, ice cream and teas, crafts and live music – and lots of running about.

“It was brilliant to see so many people having such a good time. The day was such a great success people are asking for a repeat next year.”
