The organisers of a charity fun day in Clevedon have appealed for more support ahead of this year's event.

The Charles Green Family Fun Day will be held on July 30 at Clevedon United Football Club in Coleridge Vale.

The day will feature live music, a veterans football match, displays, games and much more.

Money raised is split between the club and Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) but more help is needed from local businesses.

Sarah Dunn, one of the organisers, said: “So far we’ve raised more than £2,500 for CHSW and are supporting it again this year, as well as raising vital funds for Clevedon United FC.

“We are after charitable businesses which can either sponsor a stall or donate prizes.”

The event is named after Charles Green, one of the founding members of the football club, who died in 2014.

To donate, call Sarah on 07790 014455.
