Cadets from Clevedon and Portishead have taken part in an Easter training camp.

Nine young people joined a group of 30 from the South Bristol and Gloucestershire wing at RAF Marham in Norfolk.

They took part in a high ropes and assault course and played ultimate frisbee.

They also received a guided tour of the camp and saw Tornado jet engines serviced in the newly-opened Rolls Royce building.

A spokesman said: “Although the cadets were only on the base for three days, they crammed a lot into their visit and were grateful for the group captain’s invite. A repeat camp is also planned for later on in the year once the new F35 Lightning aircraft has arrived.”
