ROADWORKS are being carried out on a busy road near Clevedon.

North Somerset Council has started work today (Mon) on the B3133 Kenn Road in Kenn.

Scheduled to last five days, the resurfacing of the carriageway will cost about 91,000.

For the first two days, temporary traffic lights will be used during off peak hours between 9.30am-3.30pm.

However, from December 21-23 the road will be closed to all through traffic between the junctions with Kenn Street and Lampley Road due to the narrow width of the road. A diversion will be put in place and signposted.
