A BUSY lane used as a cut-through in Barrow Gurney will be closed for three months while work is carried out by Bristol Water.
Wild Country Lane will be closed from January 16 while work is carried out on a water main that runs from treatment works at Barrow and finishes east of The Dovecote pub in Ashton Road in Long Ashton.
The lane has to be closed due to its narrow width. Once this section of work has been completed, the lane will be reopened and crews will move to the Long Ashton section.
A diversion will be put in place while the lane is closed.
