VALE Vets in Portishead has become one of just 170 approved veterinary hospitals in the UK.
The Beach Road West branch has been given the status from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in recognition of the operating facilities and modern equipment it has available to allow animals to be treated quickly and efficiently. The hospital also has intensive care facilities and nurses on the premises around the clock.
Head vet Shaun Taylor said: “We know we provide the very best care for Portishead pets, but this formal recognition from the Royal College is fantastic news.
“It proves we have the very best equipment and facilities to hand and that in an emergency, pets are always seen by one of our vets here at the hospital.”
