FOLLOWING a year of exporting success, Portishead engineering business Viper Subsea is taking part in its second international trade mission.
Viper Subsea offers innovative engineering products and services for the international subsea oil, gas and offshore renewables industries.
Last year, managing director Neil Douglas took part in the first international trade mission organised as part of Santander’s Breakthrough programme. During the trip, Neil had overwhelming success with a key Brazilian operator.
He said: “Taking part in an organised trade mission offers fantastic support in establishing contacts and making appointments in a new and unknown environment. This is the kind of support that can really give businesses the boost they need to venture into a new overseas market.”
Viper Subsea has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2007. It picked up the New Enterprise Award at the Subsea UK Business Awards in 2011 and Neil Douglas was named as Institute of Directors South West Director of the Year.
