A BACKWELL business has been presented with a prestigious award for an innovative solar panel installation.
Solarsense, in Brockley Lane, was given the accolade for domestic rooftop installation of the year at the national Solar Power Portal Awards.
The winning installation on a holiday cottage in Croyde was praised by industy experts for its innovative approach and look.
Director of Solarsense Stephen Barrett said: “It’s a real honour to win this award.
“We’ve been installing solar for more than 20 years so it’s great our hard work and innovation continues to be recognised in this way.”
