Supermarket shoppers in Portishead had the chance to try on some impressive designs as a hat-maker showed off some of her creations ahead of one of the biggest weeks in the sporting calendar.
Tricia Hamilton was given the chance to display some of her hats as part of Sainsbury’s efforts to support local, independent businesses.
The hat-maker from Pill, who trades under the name Tricia Designs, demonstrated some of her bespoke goods to shoppers at the Serbert Road store on Thursday ahead of Royal Ascot, which takes places this week and sees hundreds of women don some impressive outfits and hats for the racing event.
