A pub could still be turned into a hotel, after an appeal was lodged against North Somerset Council’s decision to block the move.
Planning permission to convert The Bungalow Inn, in Butcombe, into a 36-bedroom hotel near Bristol Airport were turned down in August.
Concerns over plans for it to have a 93-space car park though were raised by councillors.
However, the decision is now being appealed.
Both sides will present their cases to an independent planning inspector who will make the final decision.
