A popular Nailsea pub will be closed for six weeks for refurbishment.
Work began on The Old Farmhouse, in Trendlewood Way, on Monday and the venue is expected to re-open again on May 18 following a full makeover.
Landlords Monty and Marianne are giving the Grade II-listed building a new lease of life inside and out and bringing out some of its historic features. It is the first time the pub has closed since it began trading in 1985 and regulars can keep up to date with the pub’s progress on its Facebook page.
