The business lunch was organised by year 12 business studies students and saw representatives of companies from in and around Clevedon attend.

They answered questions from pupils and also learnt about the school’s business programme which gives them the chance to mentor a student and become a member of the Business Lunch Club.

The event, which also included food provided by year 11 catering pupils, was also used to officially launch the school’s radio station, Black and Gold, which businesses are able to sponsor.

* The school is still looking for more companies to get involved with its programme. Anyone wanting more details should contact Tamsin Chambers by emailing TChambers@clevedon.n-somerset.sch.uk
