A PUB in Kenn will close from Monday for an extensive refurbishment.
The Drum & Monkey in Kenn Road will be shut for five weeks while its landlord, Punch Taverns, carry out the work.
This will include painting the outside, extending the kitchen, relocating and refurbishing the toilets, installing new flooring and redecorating throughout.
The plans will be on display at the pub until it closes, with its last service to be at lunchtime on Sunday. It will reopen on June 18.
A spokesman said: “we would like to thank our customers for their previous support and are very excited about being able to welcome them back to a fantastic, new Drum & Monkey.”
