ONE of Portishead’s few remaining pubs has closed for refurbishment.
The Poacher in the town’s High Street is expected to be closed for around three weeks for a major overhaul.
The move has been on the cards since new tenants Ian and Zoe Clark took over the running of the popular watering hole in 2011.
The refit is expected to include a kitchen makeover, as well as the redecoration and maintenance of the main bar area.
