A meeting for Portishead’s business owners to vent their views will be held next week.
Portishead Town Council will hold a forum for traders on September 18 at the Folk Hall, in High Street, at 7pm - as councillors seek to support the town's businesses.
Councillor Caroline Goddard said: "This is an opportunity for businesses to engage with the town council and talk through their needs and aspirations which will allow us to see where we may be able to help them.
"In addition we are hoping to encourage businesses to support each other by sharing knowledge, expertise and in some cases joining forces to collaborate on projects that will help raise the profile of local businesses in Portishead and even increase productivity.
"Members of the public are also invited to come along and have some input at the meeting, as after all many of the businesses require the support of local residents who are their customers."
