CLOTHING stores in Nailsea and Portishead could soon close if the company cannot find new investors.
Low-price clothing retailer Peacocks, which has shops in Somerset Square, Nailsea, and Wyndham Way, Portishead, has filed an intention to enter administration, meaning its stores are under threat of closure.
The company’s outlets are still trading but the group has only 10 days to find a new investor and defend itself from creditors before it will go into administration due to debts of 240million.
