AFTER 33 years of working in insurance, a Clevedon man has had a dramatic career change and opened his own dog-walking and pet-sitting firm.

Mark Towers and his wife Penny have set up Paw Pals after Mark was made redundant last year.

Although in a very worrying position, Mark set about turning his redundancy into a positive one and transformed his love of animals into a viable business proposition.

He said: “I looked at several different franchise opportunities and Paw Pals was the only one that seemed in tune with my desire to provide quality service by putting the needs of the clients and their pets first.

“After 33 years sat behind a desk I can’t wait to be out in the great outdoors.”
