A PET shop could soon move into a former car repair workshop next to a new convenience store in Nailsea.
Pets Corner, which has 67 stores nationwide, has applied to North Somerset Council for change-of-use and planning permission to build a single storey extension to the existing Cooperative building in Hannah More Road.
The company’s agent said in its application: “The scale of the extension is modest and, given that it is tucked between the original and the forward extension to the co-operative store is considered to be compatible with the surrounding structure.”
The family-run company, based in Crawley, sells pet food, bedding and accessories, along with small mammals, birds and reptiles.
