A NEW affordable homes development has been officially opened in Nailsea.
The properties are owned by Alliance Homes and are based in Brooking Meadow on Whitesfield Road.
The development includes a mixture of two and four bedroom houses, two bedroom flats and a wheelchair-accessible bungalow – all of which are energy efficient.
The development is part of the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) National Affordable Housing Programme.
Jon Hobbs, from Alliance Homes, said: “There is a real shortage of affordable housing in this region and the HCA grant we received to build 95 new homes has enabled us to plan a programme of developments which helps to address this need.”
