New equipment for schools and clubs

n SCHOOLS and clubs in Nailsea have been given all sorts of new equipment thanks to Tesco and its shoppers.

As part of the Tesco for Schools and Clubs promotion, shoppers at the Stock Way North store were given vouchers with their purchases which they could then donate to a school or club of their choice. The schools and clubs can then choose from a catalogue of products to benefit their members - from computers and guitars to garden tools and tennis rackets.

North Somerset MP Liam Fox and store manager Eddie Bodsworth are pictured with Bobby and Lily, aged six, from Hannah More Primary School in Whiteoak Way, and 10-year-old Josh, a pupil at Kingshill Primary School in Pound Lane.
