TO CELEBRATE 10 years in Portishead High Street, Heritage Estate Agent is launching a charity balloon race.
Staff in the Portishead office have teamed up with the town’s open air pool to help raise money for the lido which is also celebrating a milestone anniversary.
Heritage spokesperson Tracie Fry said: “The open air pool is celebrating its 50th birthday and as Heritage is celebrating 10 years in Portishead this year, we thought it was a great time to join forces and offer our support.”
The balloon race is the first of many events planned by Heritage to help raise money for the pool.
Balloon tags are now available to purchase from the offices at 46 High Street. 250 balloons will be released from the poolside on April 21, which is the first day of the pool’s 2012 season. The owner of the balloon tag returned from the furthest distance away will receive a �250 prize.
