A FORMER journalist from Nailsea has started up her own public relations business.
Rachel Mason has set up PR Prose which specialises in publicity for small and medium-sized businesses.
Rachel, aged 30, said: “My aim is to offer affordable and flexible PR services to smaller businesses. Many have great stories to tell, but don’t know how to go about it, others know they need to start publicising their business but cannot justify having an in-house PR team or employ a big expensive agency – that is where PR Prose can help.”
She added: “I started my career in local papers, so I know what local newspapers are looking for. I have also worked both at a PR agency and as an in house PR manager, so can adapt my skills to any type of business and any PR need, from the odd news release to ongoing targeted campaigns.”
