A FORMER Royal Marine, who lost both his legs and an arm after standing on a landmine, has given a talk to business leaders.
Mark Ormrod visited Pure Comms in Tickenham as a motivational speaker and to raise funds for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).
On Christmas Eve 2007, Mark stood on a buried mine and had to have three limbs amputated.
During his recovery process, he wrote a book called Man Down and went onto complete a number of physical challenges.
Pure Comms held an auction which raised £2,500 for the cause. A number of other events have been planned for the next 12 months.
