A gardening firm has won an award for its work helping a retirement housing organisation in Portishead.
Orchard Gardening Services has won a prize from Portishead in Bloom for its work outside St Peters Lodge, in High Street.
The company over the past 12 months has tidied up the gardens so people living there can make the most of the outdoors.
Nigel Hammond, of Orchard Gardening Services, said: “If there were two things that helped us win, they were the pruning and shaping of the shrubs.”
