PORTISHEAD Fish bar is celebrating 20 years of trading in the town.
Bev Langdale first moved into the popular High Street takeaway in the summer of 1991 and says she has loved every minute of running the business.
The 48-year-old said: “I didn’t get into this business by accident, as a child I always wanted to own my own fish and chip shop. I got my first job in a chippie as soon as I left school and worked hard towards owning my own business, which I achieved when I was 28.”
Bev said she owes her success to her loyal customers and a good work force.
