A North Somerset estate agent is helping to ensure families dependent on foodbanks do not miss out on the joy of Easter this year.
Staff at Reeds Rains on Clevedon Triangle have donated a box of Easter eggs to the town’s foodbank and hope their actions might encourage other businesses to do the same.
Charlotte Emsley, director of Reeds Rains Clevedon, said: “It’s a small gesture which we hope will give people who are currently having a bit of a tough time, a touch of luxury and inclusion at Easter.
“As well as providing a small treat we hope it shows families that people care about them.”
Two members of Reeds Rains Clevedon staff, dropped the eggs off at the foodbank collection point at Sainsburys in Portishead, which is managed by local Rotarians.
The collection point is open seven days a week with members of the Rotary Club making regular trips to deliver donations.
