CLEVEDON’S historic cinema is enjoying support from a North Somerset estate agency.
As part of celebrations to mark the centenary of The Curzon Community Cinema, Heritage has agreed to donate 10 per cent of its net fee for new instructions on both sales and lettings to the cinema when clients ask to be part of the Curzon scheme.
The estate agency, which has offices in Clevedon, Portishead, Nailsea and Yatton, has also sponsored the Curzon’s centenary calendar, which was published at the end of last year.
Curzon director Gareth Negus said: “One of our main objectives this year is to replenish the charity’s financial reserves.
“The bulk of the money we had raised over the years was used as matched funding for our Heritage Lottery Fund refurbishments last year, and we now need to do some major fundraising to invest in future stages of restoration.”
