VOLUNTEERS at Nailsea Disability Initiative (NDI) have received an award for their ‘long and exceptional work’ in the community.
Chris and Lin Baker were presented with an award by Nailsea Town Council for their continued efforts in running the Crown Glass Place store.
Chris, aged 66, said he was delighted to win the award but called on more people to register as volunteers to help ensure it continued to provide support to the community.
NDI also held a sponsored walk on Sunday where people undertook hikes of three, nine and 12 miles.
