A NEWLY-TRAINED barber has begun working at a business opened by his granddad almost 70 years ago, becoming the third generation of his family to work for the company.
Damian Cooper has followed in the footsteps of his dad, Colin, and granddad, Monty, by taking a job at Adam’s Barbershop in Chapel Hill.
Now owned by 30-year-old Adam Piggott, also from Clevedon, the business was first opened by Monty in 1944, called Monty Cooper’s Gents’ Hairdressers, before later being taken over by Colin.
Adam bought the business and renamed it in 2007.
Damian, aged 29, began his training in July and started work in the barbershop in January, working alongside his dad who still works there part-time.
