A PORTISHEAD business conference is to become an annual event after the success of Outlook Portishead earlier this month.
Portishead Chamber of Commerce teamed up with local event management company In Any Event UK, to host the initiative which showcased the town and businesses within it.
More than 100 organisations attended the event which included exhibition stands, guest speakers and networking opportunities over lunch.
Chamber president Alex Woodward said: “This has been a successful launch for Outlook Portishead, which we hope to build on for future years.”
Vickie Fitzgerald, of In Any Event, said: “We are now looking for a bigger venue for the event so that we can develop it. Portishead really does need an exhibition or conference centre now.”
