A CONTRACTING company in Clevedon has been awarded for the way it shows consideration towards its staff and the public.

Benchmark Project Management UK has received a bronze award in the national Considerate Contractors awards, which were given out during a ceremony in London.

The firm is a small hard landscaping and external works company which specialises in creating playgrounds, sport pitches, skate parks, pathways and parking spaces, working with a variety of customers including local authorities, private companies and the Ministry of Defence.

The bronze award was given out in recognition of the work carried out as part of a project to create a sports pitch and play areas at Oldfield Park Junior School in Bath.

The awards are given to those companies showing high levels of consideration towards the public, their workforce and the environment.
