A CLEVEDON gym teamed up with staff at Asda’s Portbury distribution centre to raise money for charity.

Raffle tickets were sold to staff at the depot with the winner to be treated to a full-day’s pampering courtesy of Body Management in Alexandra Road.

Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Everyman appeal, which is ran by The Institute of Cancer Research in the hope of combating male cancer.

Asda’s community life champion Shaun Partridge said: “We are also pleased to be linking up with a local business, as part of the initiative to make Asda a bigger part of the local community, and also to use their expertise to help promote all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to our colleagues.”
