ONE of Portishead’s longest-trading shops will be giving away bubbly and chocolates to its customers this weekend.
Freemans Television, in the centre of High Street, is running a one-day special on Saturday to encourage members of the community to visit the store and meet the team members.
General manager Liam Sagar said: “We pride ourselves on the personal service we offer and want to encourage more people to come through our door.
“We’re hoping that our special promotions day will do that, as well as act as a thank you to all our loyal existing customers.”
In addition to the free refreshments, Freemans will be offering people thinking of upgrading their TV, double trade-in value on selected old televisions throughout the day.
