A husband and wife duo who own a Wrington brewery have won a prestigious award for one of their ales.
Keith and Deb Hayles, who run the Twisted Oak Brewery, received a gold award for their Spun Gold ale in the Best Bitters category in the 2015 South West regional Champion Beer of Britain competition.
The pair were presented with their award by CAMRA volunteer liaison officer, Richard Harman, at a ceremony at Mr Harman’s local pub, the Old Barn in Wraxall.
Mr Harman said: “Keith was delighted to have received the award.
“The presentation was enhanced by the consumption of a couple of pints of Spun Gold.”
