A woman from Nailsea has set up her own gift box business to help people celebrate special occasions.
Kate Wyatt had been making up gift boxes for family and friends for years, so she decided to set up boxlocal to enable more people to benefit from her passion for food, drink and artisan treats.
She said: “For years I have been doing gift boxes for family and friends, searching out lovely local products that would put a smile on people’s faces.
“Why not let others experience the same feeling I thought – so that’s when boxlocal was created.”
The business caters for a variety of occasions including Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, new home boxes, maternity leave, and birthday and Christmas celebrations and includes a personal message.
Box local also supports charities and for every purchase a donation will go towards The Grand Appeal, which raises money for Bristol Children’s Hospital.
