PORTISHEAD hair stylist Ben Price is celebrating after becoming the British Ladies Hairdressing Champion for the second year running.
The 23-year-old, who is a stylist at Robert John, picked up five gold medals at the contest in Cardiff on June 12 and is now looking forward to competing in the world championships in Milan later in the year.
He came first in the heats for creative hair style, ladies fashion, hair by night, colour creative and full fashion and as a result was named overall winner.
Robert John co-owner Robert Hancock said: “We are all very proud of Ben but it has nothing to do with luck. He trains extremely hard and his efforts have paid off.”
