Backwell’s post office is being given a facelift to improve its services to customers.
The store in West Town Road is being modernised with new serving points and is to offer increased opening hours.
The branch will be closed from June 10-21 while the work takes place and customers will be able to use branches in Nailsea, in Crown Glass Place, or Cleeve, in Bishops Road.
Once it is reopened the branch opening hours will be Monday to Friday 6.15am-6pm, Saturday 6am-5.30pm and Sunday 7am to noon.
