Asda’s search for a Clevedon hero
A NEW Asda supermarket in Clevedon will open its doors on November 7.
The store in Tweed Road is being created at the former site of Focus DIY and will feature a George clothing department as well as food aisles.
In the run-up to the opening, supermarket bosses are looking for a local hero who can officially open the store and residents have been asked to nominate who they think deserves the opportunity.
The company is looking for someone who possibly goes that extra mile for a particular cause or person or an individual known for their charity work.
New store manager Rob Robertson said: “Being new to Clevedon we will work hard to be a good neighbour and we know many of our customers are tireless in their efforts to support the area.
“That is why we want to celebrate their work and make sure a real local hero opens the store.”
The winner will also be given a 100 gift card.
