A TICKENHAM man has opened up a new art gallery to share his passion with others.
Chris Rowntree has set up Crown Gallery in Tickenham to showcase work from British artists and sculptors.
He said: “I have decided to follow my heart by opening the gallery as collecting and enjoying art has always been a passion of mine.
“For nearly two decades I used art while working as a counsellor and cognitive behaviour therapist and the benefits art can give to adults and children alike are huge.
“I see art as not just looking at a picture on a wall but as a tool to open your imagination to take it wherever you choose.”
