Argos and Homebase raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society

TWO stores in Portishead managed to raise more than £500 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The joint event was organised by staff at Argos and Homebase in Wyndham Way, where a car wash was set up on July 27.

Money was also raised through a cake sale, raffle and book stall. A total of £511 was collected during the day.
