PUPILS from two Nailsea schools were invited to their local Tesco store to celebrate its donations to schools and clubs across the country.
The Tesco for Schools and Clubs scheme led to thousands of people donating their vouchers to schools and community groups so that they could buy equipment ranging from computers and art supplies to cricket bats and cameras.
Youngsters from Golden Valley Primary School and Hannah Moore Primary School visited the store to pick up their new equipment.
Nailsea store manager, Sam Cope said: “Thousands of customers have been collecting vouchers to help their local schools nad clubs get this new equipment showing what can happen when a whole community gets involved.”
