A TICKENHAM firm has beaten some huge, well-known brands to win a prestigious marketing award.

Sparkol was shortlisted in the B2B market category at the recent Marketing on Mobile Awards and triumphed over the likes of Audi and Prudential with its Videoscribe software app.

Developed by the Clevedon Road company, the technology allows businesses to easily create animated videos to engage with their audience and increase traffic to their online sites. Sparkol founder Jon Air said: “The award is a huge honour and recognises that Videoscribe is a valuable tool for any B2B marketing.

“To win against such notable companies with a product only just a year old is an incredible achievement.”

Founded in 2008, Sparkol has grown from having just a team of two a year ago to what will soon be 15 following a rapid recruitment programme.
