REGULARS at a Barrow Gurney pub put their general knowledge to the test with a fundraising quiz night.
Customers at the Princes Motto raised £500 for Run For The Future, which is held on Bristol’s Downs next month, to raise cash for prostate cancer research.
The pub is currently suffering a dip in trade due to Barrow Street road closure, but the landlord is still supporting local causes. Landlord David Dinham said: “We have a fantastic loyal bunch of regulars who know that you can still get access to the pub and are supporting us through these tough times.
“We have to say that we have a lot of older men popping in here so raising money for prostate cancer with the quiz was close to all our hearts.”
