A new community solar park has been officially opened in Kingston Seymour.
Ham Lane Solar Park is owned by Low Carbon Gordano (LCG) and consists of 3,600 solar panels which will generate power for 250 homes per year.
The new facility was funded through a community share offer and it is the second park of its kind to be opened by the environmental group.
LCG set up The Moorhouse Farm Solar Array in Hallen, near Avonmouth, in May last year and it was so successful, investors decided to open up another one.
Sir Ed Davey, the former government minster for energy and climate change, officially opened the new park along with Jon Gething from LCG.
