A popular seafront festival will continue to be held this year.
But the Clevedon Tides Festival is being organised by members of the town’s business community rather than volunteers who have put it on for the past 12 years.
Money raised from the festival will still go to MARLENS, the charity which maintains Marine Lake.
MARLENS chairman, Joe Norman, said: “After the last festival the volunteers said we really need a break.”
An estimated 10,000 people attended last year’s event which featured live music, activities at Marine Lake and the Salthouse Fields, and stalls.
This year’s festival will take place from September 15-17.
