Burst pipe leaves homes in Portishead without water

Households in Portishead have been left without water this morning (Saturday) with Bristol Water reporting a pipe has burst.

People living in Slade Road and Nore Road have woken up today to find their do not have a fully working water supply.

Bristol Water is working to resolve the problem.

It says engineers are on the scene and expects that households will regain tap water again later this morning.
