POLICE patrols have been stepped up near Portishead Cricket Club after it was targeted by burglars two weekends in a row.
The Lake Road club was broken into overnight between March 9-10, when windows at the front of the building were smashed and suspects got into the kitchen area.
Then, sometime between Friday and Saturday, another window was broken.
Nothing was stolen from the club during either incident.
Police are now appealing for people to contact them if they have information regarding the burglaries or if they see anything suspicious in the area.
Reports can be made by calling police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
