YOUNG brownies from Nailsea learned about the important role of lifeboats while working for their water safety badge. Members of the 8th Nailsea Brownies visited Portishead’s lifeboat station where volunteer crew member Rob Knott spoke about the role of the lifeboat in saving people and vessels in distress.
The brownie unit also donated 50 toward the lifeboat fund as a thank you for their visit.
