Brownies raise cash for Children’s Hospice
THE 5th Portishead Brownies completed their 100th anniversary of Girl Guiding celebrations by holding a charity evening.
The girls chose to support Children’s Hospice South West and St Peter’s Hospice. Their efforts included collecting unwanted clothes to donate to the two charity shops and covering a large Guiding trefoil with coins.
Mum Sam Berry said: “It was a fun evening for the girls which also helped them build up an awareness of local charities.”
